Welcome to the world of couponing. We understand that entering into the world of couponing can be exciting and overwhelming all at the same time. If you are just getting started we know that you have tons of questions. But have no fear because the Double Saving Divas are here!

Type Of Coupons

1.) Manufacturer Coupons: These are coupons that are issued directly from companies to you. You find these mostly in your local Sunday newspapers.Manufacturer coupons can be used at any store that accepts coupons.

2.) Store Coupons: These are coupons that are issued directly by a particular store. The store that issues these coupons are the only store at which these coupons can be redeemed.

3.) Internet Printable Coupons: These are coupons that you will find online at reputable websites such as Redplum.com , Coupons.com, and Smartsource.com. Also companies will at times release manufacturer coupons either via their company website and also on their company Facebook pages. The rule of them to remember when printing these coupons is that you are allowed to print two per computer so always hit the back button after the first one prints so that you can print a second coupon. It’s also a good idea to print them in color if possible.

What To Do With Expired Coupons

Every month we have hundreds of coupons that expire.  We often get asked the question “What do you do with them?” First, don’t worry about having expired coupons, it means you played the game right.  You didn’t run out and grab something that wasn’t on sale.  You waited and the sale didn’t come, but we’ll see those coupons again.  In the mean time it’s time to send your coupons onto a better place. Send them to those who sacrifice for us everyday: our troops around the world.  The military and their families are able to use manufacturer coupons up to 6 months after their expiration dates at their Commissaries if they are stationed abroad. This also includes internet printable coupons so don’t forget to print out the ones that you did not get a chance to use and send those as well. For additional information check out Coups For Troops.

Store Coupon Policies

For any questions that you may have as to a particular stores rules and regulations concerning coupons you want to view and keep a copy of that store’s coupon policy. We always recommend that you have a copy with you when you go shopping because you will at times find that store employees are not always clear on their policy and you can kindly show them their policy to help clarify any discrepancies. Always be polite with store employees and remember that you are representing every person that will come into that store with coupons after you leave. Here is a list of a few store policies, just click on the store name. If your particular store is not found, a quick Google search is all that you will need to find it.
