Let’s Get Organized Week 3: Organize Your Schedule
Posted 1/16/2012 by D$D in Articles, Let's Get Organized (series)
I was so excited when I read this weeks task. It’s all about getting your schedule in order. Have you ever forgotten a doctor’s appointment? Or, even a meeting with a friend? Is it because you have so many things to do and you failed to write it down? Just this past weekend I was faced with a scheduling dilemma. I woke up Saturday morning and I got my 2 year old ready and dressed to go to an art class that our local library was having with other children. I thought this would be a great time for he and I to spend time together (As I mentioned in last week’s post about organizing priorities.). I was super excited to spend quality time with my son. Well I forgot to call the library earlier that week to register. So I picked up the phone and called the same day they were having the class. And guess what? They were over capacity for the class. I felt so bad and I told myself that I have to get better with organizing my schedule. So I sat down and scheduled next months class to register for it early. I hope to never miss another class again.
This week we are all to sit down and organize our schedules by week, month and future. Take the time and write it in your daily planner. Then we are to number our tasks in each category in the order that we want to get it done. I like this one tip that Jennifer gave was to schedule all of your regular routine exams for the entire year. Things like dentists appointments, eye exams and veterinarian visits for your pets.
What are some of your scheduling disaster stories?

“We are financially savvy identical twin sisters who teach the art of extreme savings and extreme couponing.”

Yes I would love to hear some scheduling horror stories
BTW I put a link to this on my “Reviews of Organize Now” page of my website.
